Michigan Wolverines, gluttons for God!  They cannot get enough of His Presence, enough of His Power, enough of His Love!  They want more and can feast forever in the Glory!  An industrious people, with a spirit of excellence.  A driving desire to be the best.  The Lighthouses are beautiful in Michigan; Grand Haven is truly a symbol of how this state has become a place of rest because it is a place of protection.  I will defend, the state motto is a cry to defend the helpless and the unemployed.  To help your brother in need.  It is a cry for the church to rise up in prayer and intercession for their state and for their people!  Out of many, one…one is all it takes says the Lord to stand in the gap, to make the difference.  Just as the Robin is the early bird that gets the worm, God is raising up Watchmen in Michigan, to rise up early and conquer that old serpent!  They will win through their song, as the Robin even has an almost continuous song of cheer.  The joy of the Lord is the strength of these prayer warriors called from every place of this pleasant peninsula.  Witty inventions and entreprenuers will arise in strength in Michigan.  Do not rule out the young…for they hold great promise!  There is royalty like the Michigan insect, the Monarch butterfly.  There is a royal people there who are willing to travel from place to place to hear the Word of God and to be in His Presence. The women of God are on the rise!  They are apart of His army of intercessors in strength and number! These are the hungry, the thirsty, like the white-tailed deer you spot along the trails of Michigan.  Psalm 42, As the deer pants for the water, so my heart longs for You, O God.  This Great Lakes State is surrounded by water, and water is a sign of life and a sign of power.  God’s resurrection power!  Detroit is a place to see His resurrection power, His Spirit of Counsel and Might! Just like the apple blossom is the state’s flower, so the apple of God’s eye is seen in this state.  There is a people who will stand up for Israel and who will honor His chosen people.  Keep praying, breakthrough is coming!  For when you cut an apple in half, you will see a five pointed star, and that star is what is rising above Michigan, the unique young people rising above to lead and take governmental positions.  Mentor the youth, Michigan! Just as your first governor was only 19 when he began his political career, you will see many young stars rise above the horizon.  For Stevens T. Mason was the youngest state governor in American history at age 24.  Equal opportunity and justice to all is these young people’s ideal and there is truly a people there with a steel determination that will bridge the gap between those who have and those who have not!  Pray for Michigan, for she holds a key to bridge the gap for many in the days ahead.
