How lovely is your dwelling place,
2 My soul yearns, even faints,
for the courts of the Lord;
my heart and my flesh cry out
for the living God.
3 Even the sparrow has found a home,
and the swallow a nest for herself,
where she may have her young—
a place near your altar,
Lord Almighty, my King and my God.
4 Blessed are those who dwell in your house;
they are ever praising you.
5 Blessed are those whose strength is in you,
whose hearts are set on pilgrimage.
6 As they pass through the Valley of Baka,
they make it a place of springs;
the autumn rains also cover it with pools.
7 They go from strength to strength,
till each appears before God in Zion.
8 Hear my prayer, Lord God Almighty;
listen to me, God of Jacob.
9 Look on our shield, O God;
look with favor on your anointed one.
10 Better is one day in your courts
than a thousand elsewhere;
I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God
than dwell in the tents of the wicked.
11 For the Lord God is a sun and shield;
the Lord bestows favor and honor;
no good thing does he withhold
from those whose walk is blameless.
12 Lord Almighty,
blessed is the one who trusts in you.
These monogomous barn swallows have found their nest on our back porch where I sit most every morning with coffee, Bible, and time of being in the Presence of the Holy One. I watch these two birds, yes, even the male, go back and forth with “food” for their hungry nestlings that seem to have open beaks all the time. It has been so wonderful to watch them. It seems significant that these swallows are red, white and blue, have mated for life and help each other “parent” their young. Also that the little baby birds hatched on Memorial Day when we remember the ones who have laid down their lives for our freedom!
“O America, America…the Lord loves you so much. He has a place for you at His altar. Bring your young to Me, says the Lord, and I will make room for them. I will feed them and fill them. I’ll teach them to fly and soar, to live before Me. Trust in Me. Hope again. I am able. Trust Me.”

In a few short years, iGovern attendees have gone on to do great things, some becoming filmmakers, small business owners, and even campaign managers, all while fresh out of high school. iGovern is a truly one of a kind experience. Generation Joshua Founder and Chairmen Michael Farris explains, “iGovern is a powerful force in preparing our nation’s youth to defend the principles and values our founders fought so desperately to secure.”
