A significant report from Jerusalem today says that the Almond Trees are Blossoming! This tree blooms first every year in January and has great significance to us as “Watchmen.” We are called to be “awake and watching.” The Lord spoke to me a few years ago and said, “My people are praying, but they are not watching…” We must watch as well as pray or we cannot discern the times and the needs to know how to focus our prayers.

We see in Jeremiah 1:11-12 where God is “watching” over His Word to perform it…He wants us to be sleepless, alert, vigilant, on the lookout, to care for “watchfully.” In this scripture it is directly connected to “waking” (shaqad) and “almond” (sheqed) in Hebrew. We realize quickly this is a teaching of it’s own! Therefore, go to verses 17-19…

“Therefore prepare yourself and arise (arrange your clothing for activity, ‘gird your loins’) And speak to them all that I command you. Do not be dismayed before their faces, Lest I dismay you before them. (18) For behold, I have made you this day a fortified city and an iron pillar, And bronze walls against the whole land – Against the kings of Judah, Against its princes, Against its priests, And against the people of the land. (19)  They will fight against you, But they shall not prevail against you. For I am with you, says the Lord ‘to deliver you.’

Prayer Points:

First, we want to pray for Israel’s Government Leaders, especially Bibi Netanyahu, the Prime Minister. We pray for the Bible Studies he is having in his home, for divine revelation of the Torah and all the Old Covenant, that the Holy Spirit would give him the spirit of “seeing and knowing” as he studies and teaches. We ask the Lord to give him grace to know what to speak and when to speak, to ‘guard’ him against being ‘trapped’ – Proverbs 21:1. Also, that he would be “rock like and uncomprising’  in any and all decision for his nation.
We pray for the new Chief of Air Force to be elected. This is the most important branch of service in the Israeli Defense Force. We ask you, Lord to raise up and appoint the leader You want at this time – not just a political move made by man.
We praise God for Israel’s strong economy and acknowledge this has happened by the Hand of God via answered prayer of the intercessors who stand at their posts day and night giving God no rest. He will ultimately make Jerusalem a praise in the earth…Isaiah 62:7

We pray for God to move in Iran, for Israel to be prepared, for the Iranians to make a stupid error, like closing Harmoz. God has allowed them to make errors before for Israel’s protection. The king’s heart is in the hand of the Lord no matter who that king is! Ask God to deal with Iran. “We don’t know what to do, Lord, but our eyes are on You!” II Chron. 20:12b

We praise God for the Revival in Iran! Thousands are being saved – probably one million as of this writing out of the 70 million population. We ask you Lord to protect these Believers and to lead them to understand the place of Israel. Help someone to make disciples of these new believers in Yeshua!

Lastly, we know Israel is a balagan (mess), BUT GOD is looking for His intercessors in YOU! A Reese Howell Intercessor quote about WW II is revelant today:” Protection of the Jews, Restoration of Israel, and the Gospel going out to the world!”

Psalm 108:11-13 “Is it not You, O God, who cast us off? And You, O God, who did not go out with our armies? (12) Give us help from trouble, For the help of man is useless. Through God we will do valiantly, For it is He who shall tread down our enemies!
